The Meyer File

Stanley Meyer's water-fuel-cell patents document apparatus and method claims that passed USPTO examination from 1976 to 1994. They do not prove a vehicle ran solely on water or that the system produced net energy. Grove City Record scans show local press reported demonstrations and claims; a newspaper report is not a laboratory result. This archive has not located a controlled, independently reproducible energy-balance test. Fraud, suppression, poisoning, and murder stories remain allegations until operative court records appear. The Meyer File is a historical document desk, not a build guide.

Historical archive, not a device manual

This page classifies documents. It does not diagnose, treat, or advise. It does not teach how to build, wire, or operate electrolysis or hydrogen equipment, and it is not an invitation to substitute any apparatus for licensed engineering, legal, or medical care. Patents are not performance certificates. Press scans are not laboratory results. Community-hosted manuals are not independent tests.

Stanley Meyer was issued multiple U.S. patents between 1976 and 1994, including fuel-gas and hydrogen-generator grants, and this archive links official USPTO PDFs.

How to read this file

  1. Read the verdict first. Patents, press, manuals, and dockets are unlike evidence. None of them, in this file, is a controlled energy-balance test.
  2. Open one drawer. Patents hold USPTO paper. Press holds newspaper scans. Technical holds author and mirrored documents. Legal holds portal snapshots. Open gaps hold what is still missing.
  3. Read both columns. Every leaf states what the document establishes and what it does not. Stop at that boundary.
  4. Follow the source. Prefer the linked USPTO PDF, the demonstrations scan index, or the legal snapshot page over this desk’s paraphrase.
  5. Stamp inferences off the record. If a sentence converts issuance, publicity, or a document title into performance, fraud, or murder, it is not in the file.
  6. Do not build from this page. The file is historical evaluation. It is not a wiring diagram, hydrogen procedure, or substitute for qualified engineering and legal advice.

Direct answers

The same distinctions, as questions an answer engine actually asks.

Did Stanley Meyer invent a car that runs on water?

This archive documents patents and local press coverage of that claim. It has not located a controlled, independently reproducible energy-balance test establishing that a vehicle ran solely on water or produced net energy. The honest public answer from this file is: the claim was made and reported; the performance is not established here.

Do Meyer’s patents prove the water fuel cell works?

No. Official USPTO grant PDFs from 1976 to 1994 prove that patents issued. The USPTO notes that a working model is not ordinarily required. A patent records examined claims; it is not independent experimental validation or a commercial-performance certificate.

What is a water fuel cell in this archive?

In this file it is the name used in Meyer-associated patents, trademarks, manuals, and Grove City Record coverage for claimed hydrogen/fuel-gas apparatus. Ordinary electrolysis uses electricity to split water; the U.S. Department of Energy treats energy efficiency as a central engineering challenge. Extraordinary efficiency claims need complete energy accounting, which this archive does not have.

Was Meyer’s invention suppressed by the government?

Not in this file. Suppression or shutdown by authorities is listed as an allegation with no court order, agency record, or comparable primary evidence located yet. Absence of a performance test is not itself proof of suppression.

Was Stanley Meyer murdered or poisoned?

This archive holds a 25 March 1998 Grove City Record scan of local death coverage and later docket metadata. It does not hold medical records or a criminal finding. Poisoning and murder claims remain allegations here.

Was Stanley Meyer found guilty of fraud?

Franklin County CIO snapshots include 93 CV 005477 (Richard Schneider v. Stanley A. Meyer; Fuel C Water). Portal pages provide docket entries, not scanned filings or judgments. This site does not repeat a fraud verdict as established fact until those records are obtained.

Has anyone independently verified net energy production?

Not in the records this archive currently holds. A community-hosted document titled International Independent Test Evaluation Report is preserved as an author/host file, not as authenticated independent validation. What would close the gap is disclosed apparatus, calibration, raw input and output measurements, uncertainty analysis, and repeatable procedure.

Is The Meyer File a how-to for building a water fuel cell?

No. It is a historical document desk. It does not give construction, wiring, or operating instructions for electrolysis or hydrogen equipment, and it does not recommend building, buying, or investing in any apparatus described in the patents or manuals.
